Aviation Nexus Product Terms

Third-Party Services and Licenses

Aviation Nexus connects to FlightRadar24 and may use third-party map or geocoding services. A separate FlightRadar24 API license is required and is not included with the Aviation Nexus subscription. Customers are responsible for maintaining their own third-party accounts, credentials, usage limits, and compliance with third-party terms.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for configuring Aviation Nexus correctly, assigning appropriate Salesforce permissions, protecting API credentials, and ensuring that use of the solution complies with their internal policies and applicable laws. Customers are also responsible for any Salesforce, FlightRadar24, or third-party service fees incurred through their use.

Data Use and Retention

Aviation Nexus retrieves and stores aviation data in the customer's Salesforce org. The package includes automated cleanup features designed to support FlightRadar24 data retention requirements, including the requirement not to retain retrieved data for more than 30 days. Customers are responsible for keeping retention automation enabled and for managing any exported, copied, reported, or backed-up data outside the package.

No Safety-Critical Use

Aviation Nexus is intended for business visibility, operational context, reporting, and workflow automation. It is not designed or approved for air traffic control, flight navigation, dispatch safety decisions, emergency response, or any other safety-critical use.

Data Accuracy and Availability

Flight, airport, map, and usage information depends on Salesforce, FlightRadar24, and other third-party services. Aviation Nexus does not guarantee that external data will be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Permitted Use

Customers may use Aviation Nexus for their business purposes within their authorized Salesforce environment. Customers may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, scrape, bulk export for resale, or use the solution to create a competing aviation data service.

Security and Credentials

Customers must not share API keys or credentials with unauthorized users. If credentials are suspected to be compromised, customers should rotate them promptly and review related Salesforce access.

Support and Changes

Support applies to the Aviation Nexus package, not to Salesforce, FlightRadar24, map providers, or other third-party services. Features may change to maintain compatibility, security, compliance, or third-party API requirements.

No Legal or Regulatory Advice

Aviation Nexus provides technical features that may assist with governance and data lifecycle management, but customers remain responsible for determining their own legal, regulatory, contractual, and compliance obligations.
